Poseidon Bins – Wheelie Bin Cleaning

    Kyri, the owner of Poseidon Bins, came to me with a clear goal: to create a local wheelie bin cleaning business in the Grantham area and make it simple for customers to book and pay for services online. What he didn’t have was a roadmap for how to get there. Together, we worked through the full process – from how the booking journey should look, to handling payments securely, through to marketing and pricing strategies that would help the business stand out in a competitive space.

    I designed and built a bespoke booking system that allows customers to quickly check if their postcode is covered, select the bins they want cleaned, choose a frequency and number of visits, and then pay online with ease. The system automatically applies Kyri’s chosen pricing model, including discounts for larger bookings and a “first clean free” offer to encourage sign-ups. Behind the scenes, job schedules are generated so the business can stay organised, cutting down admin and giving Kyri a simple way to manage his day-to-day operations.

    The website ties it all together with a professional, playful brand identity, including a Poseidon-inspired mascot that helps bring personality to the service. With marketing messaging, customer journey planning, and a clean mobile-friendly design, Poseidon Bins is well positioned to attract new customers and scale locally. The site is due to launch in October/November 2025, and Kyri has been very happy with the work so far – confident that his business now has the tools in place to grow.
